THRIVE 2GETHER

Building Skills, Being Active and Engaging in Community.

Through offering opportunities to build skills, promoting active lifestyles, and encouraging real-world involvement, we open doors of opportunity and help shape a brighter future – for you and the world around you.

We organise weekly local family rides exploring the Watford Green Loop, Cassiobury Park, Oxhey Activity Park cycle tracks, and Whippy Woods mountain bike trails — along canals and into Wendover Woods.

“I like that we go around the area and we can explore new places.”

Members gain confidence using tools, planning, measuring, calculating, and building real projects. They upcycle pallets from local businesses and have built structures like tiki huts and cycle racks from donated scaffolding.

“I like that I can learn new things with the tools, and how I can use them.”

Personal Finance 4 Real Life

Sessions introduce young people to bank accounts, interest rates, budgeting, mortgages, and investing. – The important parts not taught in school!

Investment sessions include building a fantasy investment portfolio – live trading on markets: shares, commodities, ETFs, and more.

“I asked my family for money instead of presents for Christmas. I have invested it.”

Attendees learn different art techniques and styles, work alongside professional artists, and create pieces that feed back into the community and local arts ecosystem.

“Yesterday’s lesson was really fun. We learnt about different techniques to achieve different designs using the spray paints.”

Exceptional!

“It was really interesting, I learnt a lot of new things. I turned £10,000 into £99,000 trading. I’m going to select economics as part of my GCSEs as I think I will enjoy learning more”

Highly recommend!

Yesterday’s lesson was really fun. We learnt about different techniques to achieve different designs using the spray paints, which was very interesting. I enjoyed it a lot as I’ve never done something like this before.

Five stars!

It was really interesting, and I learned a lot of new things today, like interest and different ways that money can come in. And the live trading app was very fun to manage
